Android, Apple, and Microsoft looking for the prize

Google's Android, Apple's iOS, and Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 looking for the prize

Ever arrived at a party late? After everyone has already paired up in conversation, and all that’s left are cellphone peckers…

Microsoft came to this party with a guest named Windows Phone 7.
I like Microsoft for several reasons: they give back to their core-production compounds in India, and Bill Gates is extremely innovative and giving (many African regions don’t have wide-spread Malaria because of him and his wife)… Plus, they had that really cool touch-enabled table computing idea…

Too bad Apple and its iPhone, as well as Google and its Android’s Open-Handset Alliance, already gave consumers touch table computing… that they could take everywhere and keep in their pockets.
Also, as a developer, I don’t know a single developer interested in developing for Windows Phone 7, because “Seriously? Another platform? Give me a break.”
Word to Microsoft’s app developer evangelists: call Phonegap, and many developers will use you. It’s your last hope. No apps, no smartphone customers (seriously).

Your phone might be great, but people historically just buy what their friends buy, and apps can unite friends when put on a social platform. Good luck.
