2 birds with one stone

Facebook should acquire Zong And Boku because Facebook users would then be able to buy stuff on Facebook application stores (coming soon… a virtual store resembling the real store) using just thier phone number.
After making a purchase, you (the consumer) would then get a text-message to verify your Facebook purchase… and boom, you’re done…
Facebook… you’re trying to figure out how you’re going to get Facebook Credits to work because your users aren’t really going to be excited about putting their credit card info on your site. This is how you circumvent that…
By acquiring Zong and Boku which already have deals through the major carriers to charge people’s phone bill directly… getting the money from AT&T or Verizon… not the consumer’s credit card company.
Wait… does this then make Verizon and AT&T like credit card companies… buying Verizon shares now.

Just don’t have your phone stolen… That will have a whole new meaning if this mobile Facebook credits thing flies (and you use it… that’s a big part, too).
