When I stood up and announced to the entire office just now that “Android is no longer just beating iPhone in subscription rates, but in overall subscriptions in the US“, one of my co-workers, our back-end lead developer, said back: “When one phone has Flash, and the other doesn’t, you know something’s gonna happen.” He spoke the truth.
Then, as it all sunk in, we came to mutual realization:
ya just can’t beat open-source.
Even though, Android isn’t really open-source. I guess, ya can’t beat mostly open-source.
I don’t think Apple knew that.
